Flaxseeds do help the body feel full. They also promote good colon health. Flaxseeds arerich in omega-3 and -6 fatty acids..these speed up metabolism and can even help your heart and arteries. Yep every Dieter and diabetic should be taking flaxseed oil or ground flaxseeds. Use on salads, oatmreal, grits, protein shakes, veggies...etc. There is no real taste just benefits. Some say a nutty flavor..I don't taste it.

    I've been using flaxseed for years. Whole and ground... I love it, it does have a nutty flavor to me (whole seeds) and I particularly like the whole seeds generously sprinkled on a cup of Special K for my morning breakfast... also on my dinner salads.

    Right now I am pre-diabetic and I finally completed eating a bag of Flaxseeds. You are right they can go in so many things we eat!!! emoticon
