You can block sugar absorption by taking a fiber supplement every day. 100% psyllium fiber is available in a pill Walmart Equate 100% psyllium fiber. Good for intestinal health too! Metamucil is good too just add a tablespoon of psyllium fiber with apple sauce. Any questions, ask your doctor!
It's hard (for me, anyway) to get all the fiber I need. So, in the morning, I decide how to get it in for the day and plan around that for at least one meal. Usually, it's a high fiber cereal, but I like to work in beans into a meal, if possible. When all else fails, there's always Metamucil.
