I set up a Gmail account that is only for our bills.I keep track of everything there. All my bills go there and are not lost in all my other email. I made folders for each bill and folders for things to pay in the next 15 days and the next 30 days. Once I get confirmation that the bill is paid, I put it in the correct folder. One of the best things I've done to keep on track.

I always found I'd spend my money for bills before I got a chance to pay them. So I opened a second account for bills. When I get paid I add up my bills and leave that money there, then transfer the rest to my spending account. This way I never go over on spending funds. Include "savings" as one of your "bills" and set up an auto transfer to your savings account.
The easiest way to save money for me is to keep two separate bank accounts - one for all of my normal monthly bills (rent, mortgage, utilities, cable, etc) and one for the "rest". Have your work do separate direct deposits into those accounts. Figure out the most you will spend in any given month and use that for the amount into your bills' account. Anything under budget that month, put into a savings account. Some months will have nothing extra but some months will be a few hundred!
One of my favorite Spark communications is the daily Healthy Reflections. In a few short paragraphs of inspiration and reflection on living life, I can always find some way to relate it to my own life or to someone I know. I often find myself forwarding these messages because they are so relevant.
