Get up and play with your pets! Its amazing how many obese pets there are in America now! It's kind of a bad sign if your dog growls at you when you say "Go for a walk"... Even 5 minutes of tugging on a rope or chasing your cat around will make a difference. Staying healthy isn't about a dramatic change all at once, its about continuous modifications that work best for you!

I agree! Sometimes we get caught up in our own fitness and forget about our pets fitness! I am so lucky because my mini Aussie, Charlie, loves to go for walks and he gets chased around by my kids. He makes me love to go out and go for walks!

Taking your dog for a walk is also a great way to squeeze a little cardio in for the day. And your dog will certainly enjoy it. I know my little mutt does.
