After measuring out food for your meal, measure out the leftovers and store in seperate containers. This way you are only dirtying the measuring spoon, food scale, etc, once, and you'll have pre-portioned leftovers ready to go whenever you have your next meal!
I went to the dollar store and loaded up on measuring cups. Probably spent about $10 total. What I did with those measuring cups and spoons is put them in each box of food. That way I don't have an option to not measure my food. The exact amount scoop is already in the box. It really has help me be able to fell confident that I can eat one portion and not go over.
Whenever I measure my food, I like to use the measuring cup/spoon right below the value so I get to do two scoops. I.E. when I'm allotted one cup of food, I use a half cup measure so I can scoop it in twice. It makes me feel like the portion is larger and stops me from feeling deprived! 43
