Ever since I was knee high to a grasshopper I've absolutely loved root beer floats. Eating is emotional to me, when I think of root beer floats, I think of being at my grandparent's house on a hot summer day when my grandma would make everyone an ice cold refreshing float. I still crave them today, but instead of having a full one I have a root beer shot. It's less than half the calories, with all the familiar taste.
All you need is a shot glass, some diet root beer and a tablespoon or so of vanilla ice cream. You can also use frozen yogurt, but the consistency will be a bit different.

Saying No,Thank You to Candy/Cookie Fundraisers And Give a Donation of $ instead
On this Valentine's Day, I thought it would be interesting to have a say- no- to -sweets-secret! I have a neighbor whose child has school fundraisers using catalogs to buy cookie dough for baking ahead. I bought TWO tubs of choc. chip cookie dough last year and when no one was able to come to the cookie-bake I had scheduled for my child during the holidays,AFTER the holidays when I was cleaning out the freezer and saw the cookie dough,I baked it all and ATE them in 2 wks!~Gained 5 lbs & lost it
So I made a New Year's Resolution not to buy the dough anymore.So when she came around with the fundraiser,I said no,politely ,but my hubby came up with a GREAT IDEA--let the CHILD choose a tub of cookies and DONATE THE $! That way I get to help WITHOUT putting on any weight !!!Works for me!!
If you are ever tempted by a candy bar or other sweets and snacks just tell yourself over and over that you could eat right and lose the weight now, and eat the sweets later. Tell yourself that you could always buy a 60 cent candy bar or a 99 cent bag of chips, etc. on another day. It always helps!

my secret is that help me see the pounds come finally come off is . a change in my exercise routine, instead of me doing 30 min walk away the pounds every day. I do now is the 10 minute trainer 6day a week.. I also drink 16 ounces of water before meals and 1 cup of green tea 30 minutes to an hour after each meal .I also stay with in my calorie intake.
there is no equipment I use but my computer , I don't even go outside when its cold or raining anymore. I found out about you tube and I was shock when I found out that I could do a different exercise every day this saves me money for new clothes.check it out.just type 10 minute exercise and pick
