I've been having trouble getting enough protein in my diet, and I've found something to help. Maple Lodge Chicken Weiners are only 80 calories each, and have 4 g of protein, and they taste very similar to the Red Hot hot dogs that hubby swore was the only type that he would eat.... not true :)
I've also made them an even healthier choice by ditching the bun and wrapping each dog in a Weight Watcher's Multi-Grain piece of bread. Lose all the unhealthy white bun, and a bunch of the calories.
If you're like me, you have trouble getting enough protein, but you love your carbs. Try switching out regular yogurt with the Greek kind. Fat free, still some good flavors, and usually double the protein of the regular stuff!
Oikos & Yoplait are two big companies that make some good varieties of Greek yogurt.
I have a hard time getting enough protein in my diet. I found two products that have helped me recently - one is Greek Yogurt which has nearly 20 grams of protein. The other is the Baby Bonbel Light Cheese rounds. They have 6 grams each and don't add any carbs to your daily intake.
