I find that when i don't really want to work out, if i just put on my workout shoes it gets the ball rolling and I'm ready to start my workout. Putting on my shoes/ workout cloths seems to be the hardest part. After the workout, i feel energized and ready to take on the world. So put on those shoes!

I can't get outside and exercise unless I put my shoes on, so that is the habit I adapted early on no matter how tired, how much I didn't want to, I put my shoes on and got out the door. Now it is a habit! CREATE THE HABIT! PUT ON YOUR SHOES! MOTIVATE YOUR SELF! MOVE YOUR SELF!
Whenever I don't feel like working out, my compromise is to just get dressed. I put on my work out outfit, dressed to shoes. After I look the part, it's hard to convince myself to NOT exercise, since I'm already dressed. Putting on my shoes is usually what pushes me over the edge and gets my butt in gear!
When the alarm goes off, just get up and do it. No matter how difficult it is, if I just get up and put on my shoes, go out side and tell myself it's okay to just do a short walk rather than my planned run, I always end up completing the run once i have my shoes on and go outside.
My dog always whines when i hit the snooze...... she's my motivation and my guilty conscience when I feel like being lazy or sleeping in.
