I love peanut butter but not the fat. Greek yogurt is high in protein and creamy and delicious. I like some slightly thawed frozen fruit with a dollop of Greek yogurt and a few slivered almonds on top. Yum! A good protein/carbo balanced snack and a way to get some of those wonderful five-a-day fruits and veggies.

A much better plan for diabetics is higher protein and fats .. yes I said FATS and low carbs, meaning no sugars or grains.

I often have graham cracker with p-nut butter to curb the "hungries" at night..otherwise there will be no sleep because of the tummy growls
