When it comes to water consumption I now alternate between the two. In particular in the evenings when I have cravings for a snack I pour me a glass of sparkling water instead. The sensation of the bubbles is helping me overcome the craving for "bad calories". Try it out !

When it gets hard to get in all the water you should drink I go for either sparkling water with lemon or lime (other fruits would work as well) or Clear American (available at Wal-Mart), which is also a easy way to sneak in some vitamins as some of them contain vitamins and/or minerals that we need for health reasons.
If you go the sparkling water rout the only calories you get are from your fruit, if you go with Clear American there are zero calories
