If you have a hard time committing to getting started, and you pray, ask for the willingness to be willing.

More Information:

I can't do this by myself, but by asking for the willingness, I'm asking for God's blessing and help, as well as support. Works for me.

  • You are so right ... God is not looking for our perfection, He is looking for our willingness to be perfected, then, leave it in His hands and watch Him work! In the area of food, I found it is more profitable for me to ask God to give me the strength to not pick it up and eat it than it is to ask Him to help me put it down after I've already started stuffing my face. Sometimes it a permanent change that I don't crave that food anymore and sometimes it's just a temporary relief from that craving and I have to ask for His help the next time. But in any case, He's always there to help when I ask. It's when I don't ask that I get in trouble.

  • Great words to live by for everything. We all need to be open to receive. It's harder than you think. Thanks for the great reminder. - by ME40ME
