My Yoga teacher made a brief statement regarding 'non-attachment'. Be in the moment, do the work, without getting caught up in the outcome. I immediately related this to weight loss. When I got home, I revised my Sparkpage and deleted all dates-to-be. I still have a final weight loss goal, and markers along the way, but am no longer concerned about an exact "outcome." I am even more focused on being present in the moment and doing the work. Keep on no matter what, and the body will reflect it.

I bought several of those little belt-attachment or keychain-attachment battery-powered bike lights (the ones that bikers use to ride at night; they're sold in bike shops and outdoor equipment stores), and I keep one in each of my carrybags, so that I can take outdoor walks at night (or as night is approaching) and feel less worry about my safety. The lights are really bright, and last a long time!!
