I've always loved to snack, and recently my physician advised me to eat 2-3 snacks a day in addition to 3 light regular meals. Whoopee! But how to keep the calories in check? I've learned to prepare 50- calorie snacks of my favorite healthy snack foods ahead of time. Just now, I ate a 30-calorie slice of light cheese. Tonight I'm looking forward to my homemade 50-calorie trail mix baggie right before turning out the lights. And my favorite is barley mixed with sugar free strawberry syrup. Yum!
