As you lose weight and others take notice, make a note of the compliments you receive! I normally note something in my journal, my blog, or just mention it in my status. Having it somewhere I can check is great; then, when I'm feeling down, I can look at that and my self-esteem shoots back up!

aside from the support you receive in everyday life, you have a giant support system and accountability partner in sparkpeople. recording all of your workout and nutrition info for the day is a great way to stay on track and see your progress. it's motivating to see where you've come from.
When I feel myself being careless about what I eat, I remember all the compliments I received when I lost a lot of weight. I literally felt like the belle of the ball when friends and even strangers complimented how I look. I remind myself that feels a whole lot better than a bag of chips!
Even if you have eaten bad make sure you record what you've eaten, this way you can learn from it. It's tempting to not record intake if you haven't eaten properly but this is the time you need to record it, along with how it made you feel

If you write down everything you've eaten that might've been bad you can then analyse how you felt afterwards or what made you eat that way to start with such as an argument, a comment someone made, this way you'll be ready next time!
