Quiet Times During Your Workout

I prefer to work out in the mornings, but that's also when I prefer to have my quiet times, since the kids aren't up yet. Here's a way to combine the two: LISTEN to scripture while working out. I play the audio files on my iPhone while I'm on the Elliptical, praying before/after while stretching/cooling down. This gives me the spiritual and physical charges I need each morning. No matter what the day holds, I know that I started it out right! emoticon emoticon

More Information:

I checked out a set of the audio Bible CDs at our local Library, saved a copy of them in my iTunes account, transferred the books I wanted to focus on that month to my iPhone, plugged my headset in, hit play and get busy on the Elliptical. emoticon

  • I read a blog here on SparkPeople where a woman who was running a marathon prayed for a different person for each mile. I thought that was really neat. I think she also had people praying for different miles of her marathon. - by MARTELLA3
