Fold laundry directly from the line, and sort it too.
MORE INFORMATION:
Remove and fold all smalls. Stack them according to owner. Then remove and fold all shorts, then skirts, shirts and blouses, stacking according to owner. You can pick out the clothes that belong to one person at a time. Saves you time putting things away, and prevents a lot of wrinkled clothing too.
When I'm folding laundry, I turn the TV onto an upbeat music channel and blast the volume (I usually only do this when home alone!). I find myself dancing to the music and moving the whole time I'm folding, not just standing in one spot! Instead of folding lots of piles on our bed, then putting them away, I put etch item away as I fold/hang up items to keep moving!
I bring my laundry upstairs to fold, have the tv running to news weather or something, and march in place with pedometer on while folding laundry. I get some extra steps in and am never bored
