I eat the same breakfast every day to lower my cholestrol---oatmeal with usually some fruit. I used to put it in the Nutrition tracker every day til I realized I could SAVE SOME TIME & ENERGY by copying it a week ahead on the COPY CUSTOM FOODS above the meal listed [on the Nutrition Tracker] . That little amt. of time INVESTED has SAVED ME TIME and TIME AGAIN [pun intended!]. If I am making a big batch of food,say a SP recipe for chili, I can copy THAT CUSTOM FOOD for Dinner a week ahead ...
...or however many days!These ways of tracking food help KEEP me on the Nutrition Tracker and THAT helps keeps my goal weight maintained!

Calculate your meal's calories before you eat it rather than after!
I like to enter my calories manually rather than using the meal plans (the favourites list and copy custom meal functions make this pretty fast). It makes it easier for taking lunches to work and blending in with the rest of my family. I enter my food items/quantities before I sit down to eat and it really helps me stay within my calorie and nutrient ranges. 9
