Use fruit spread made with fruit and fruit juice with no added sugar in place of fat on bread. A lot less calories. Satisfies sugar cravings.

    Hi Ellen, I've been making my own jam for years. Now I need to learn how to make sugar free jam. Nothing like homemade whole wheat bread with homemade jam. (No added sugar of course)...Have a Super Day.
