I've been eating out a lot. I'm on vacation in Florida for the winter and having friends and family come and go. Recently we went to The Hurricane Restaurant in St. Pete Beach and they wasn't much on the menu for a dieter.

More Information:

I ordered a Turkey Cheese on Cuban Bread, NO butter, NO mayonnaise, MUSTARD ON THE SIDE. I ate the filling with knife & fork & mustard and ate 1/4 of the bread spread with mustard. But I'm a mustard lover. Result: no weight gain that day!

  • It is a temptation to shrug your shoulders and eat what is on the menu as offered. Good for you to remember that you can ask for modifications and still make good choices. The other day I saw that they had a grilled buffalo chicken wrap, and a chicken Caesar salad on the menu (which can be pretty calorific!) I asked to substitute the grilled buffalo chicken and skip the croutons and dressing. A great low calorie lunch! - by REVSERENA
