Eating unsaturated fats, including polyunsaturated & monounsaturated fats, can help to lower triglyceride levels.Reduce triglyceride levels by eating fish or fish oil. Polyunsaturated & monounsaturated fat reduce blood levels of triglycerides. Trans fats and saturated fats raise them. Too much fat around your waist, high blood pressure, high triglycerides, high blood sugar &abnormal cholesterol levels increase the risk of heart disease, metabolic syndrome & stroke.
