If possible, eat when you are hungry, don't put it off! Don't wait for the next proscribed "meal time" or think that not eating when you're hungry will help with weight loss! When you DO finally eat, you'll be even HUNGRIER and end up eating more than you would have otherwise.

    Great advice. It helps to keep foods around that you can have when it isn't meal time... for me that means almonds or walnuts (both have good fats), dried fruit and L'A'Rabars, which I find in the health food section of the supermarket. Like anything else, you have to watch the amount - 10 almonds, 7 walnut halves, 5 apricot halves and 1/3 to 1/2 of a bar... any one of these is enough to get me through to the next meal. Sometimes a glass of water works too, or non-fat milk.
