Replace high fat snacks to low fat calorie burning foods........
Instead of snacking on high fat snacks in front of the t.v. like crisps, chocolate and cakes, every time you go for a snack replace it with a vegetable like celery or a fruit like an apple. Also did you know, because celery is so hard to chew actually eating it burns calories!!!! Plus it will satisfy your craving for snacking.
Having lost so much weight by a simple lifestyle change by cutting out or drastically cutting down on snacks like potato chips, etc. I have moved on to making my life healthier because instead of snacking on chips, I now snack on a fruit or 2...and if it is not in the house you can't snack on it
Chewing gum instead of reaching for a food hug, helps me stay on track with my nutrition goals. When I have to work late or do un-fun chores at home like taxes, I have to force my self to sit and focus instead of snacking. I am always looking for some food to soften the boredom. I'm not hungry, just looking for a way out of my chore. Popping some chewing gum does two things: helps me stay away from the snacks and it helps me focus!
