The Lunch Drawer

I have a drawer set aside in the fridge for my lunch choices. I pack my lunch 5 days a week and I don't like to spend a lot of time making up lunches. The drawer is filled with little one serving goodies of each of the food groups. I have yogurt, cottage cheese, babybel cheese and laughing cow wedges. I have baby carrots, celery sticks, bell pepper slices, apple slices and clementines. There are single servings of hummus, crackers, pretzels and tortillas folded into baggies.

MORE INFORMATION:
I go to the fridge with my lunch bag and toss in 4 items...a different combination every day and it never gets boring. I just make sure there's a fruit and a veggie, a protien and a carb and I am good to go!

    So smart. Taking my lunch saves me oodles of calories. I too have regular lunch items, but keeping them in the crisper together is a great idea. I also keep a few Lean Cuisines in the freezer for those times when I am really in a rush or out of my lunch stuff.

    I have something similar but its a cupboard with some canned veggies and fruits, some oatmeal, and some teas. Just in case.
