Water at work tastes AWFUL, even with Brita pitcher, so I steep fruit/herbal tea in 8 ounces of water until it's dark, then pour over ice with cold water -- better than crystal lite because there's no artificial sweeteners, no caffeine. I'm drinking much more water this way.
Herbal, caffeine free teas work bets -- Right now I'm working through a box of Celestial Seasonings Fruit Tea Sampler.

Every once in a while I get sick of plain water, but the flavored waters here in Germany are either full of sugar or artificial sweeteners. I found out how to make my own 0 calorie flavored water threw accident! We have great fruit teas here in germany, I use 5 bags of fruit tea on a pitcher of hot water and just let it cool down. Then I mix it with sparkling water and finished. Flavored Water!
My favorites are blueberry vanilla or black and blueberry fruit tea from Teekanne.
I hate plain water, but love to flavor it with different kinds of generic flavors I find at Wal-Mart. Each box has 10 packs in it, and only costs about $1.80 per box. I keep a stash in my purse so that when I go out to eat, I just order a water and add my own flavor to it. I'm not tempted to drink soda. Saves money and calories!
I bought a Soda Club carbonator and now I can have sparkling water whenever I want. With a squeeze of lemon, it makes water festive and although there is an upfront investment, it pays off in the long run. They also have diet soda flavors so you can make your own pop - or light tonic water.
