I have a friend who works the night shift (I work evening). When she comes in we discuss how we're doing, our frustrations & successes. When I don't feel like doing our 1mile walking tape before I leave, she pushes me. I do the same for her! We get more done & feel better every day! We have a pact to alternate taking responsibility for motivating each other every shift change!! It's working great!!

Self motivation and the motivation of online friends
It helps to stay focused on being healthy if you surround yourself with others who share this goal. SP has been awesome in helping me find others online, but I've also found friends at work and in my neighborhood who are striving to be healthier. It's fun to share ideas and motivation!
