If you have a "trigger food" or binge item, one thing that helps me is to decide only to eat one type. When I'm having a stressful day, it makes me feel as if somewhere I've gotten off track with God. His word says that we are to come to Him when we are burdened and He will give us rest. The long term payoff will be less pain, less pounds, and a happier and healthier me.
