Keeping my fitness tracker updated helps me stay motivated to exercise. I like this site and reading all the blogs, etc. I feel guilty if I pop on here without doing the work. I make sure to work out first, then get on and track my progress. Just seeing how much I've done makes me wanna do more.
I use my treadmill every day, set on a 4% grade and a speed at which is comfortable for me at the time. But never running. I also occasionally use hand weights.

I try to start every day by visiting my Spark People homepage when take care of my morning computer things. If I log in and spin the wheel right away, I find I'm more likely to exercise and track my food throughout the day than if I wait until later.
All our weight loss efforts - exercise, planning, tracking, figuring ranges - are all temporary unless we are kind to the person in the mirror. That person is the one we have to learn to love FIRST. Search out the positives........talk to the person in the mirror about those rather than all the hateful things you are used to saying. Learn to be your own best friend! It leads to a whole world of possibilities - not just in weight loss ...........
