Pizza is my weakness. I just can't give it up! But, I don't let it kick my a%@. I choose wisely and eat it European-style - WITH A KNIFE AND FORK! First, always choose thin crust (whole wheat if available) with light cheese and veggies for toppings (or ham if you need meat; stay away from fatty pepperoni or sausage). Then cut up each slice with a knife and fork laying down the utensils after each bite while you chew. This will slow you down and keep you from over-indulging! Works for me! :)

4 breakfast my husband and I LOVE to have 2 whole grain (eggo) waffles with tsp. of almond butter and tsp of honey and a 1/2 sliced banana.. YUMMMM!!! it's under 350 cals!!! and makes you full until snack.. Also can be used for a sweet treat!!! I'm telling you, it will be your NEW love!!
Cut out all whites from my diet. Example replaced white flour with almond or coconut flour. No white rice , bread. Organic cheese, milk, fruits and meats. No cold cereal only steel cut oats. No can soup,vegetables or fruit. I feel great and have lost 45 pounds in 5 months. I'm never hungry.

When eating pizza I have found that taking clean paper napkins and gently blotting the top of your pizza will wick up a fair amount of oils . The last time I had pizza at our favorite place I used 3 napkins on an 8 inch square pizza. I figure any oil I take off the top of my pizza is that much less oil that I am not taking in.
