It's awful hard not to work a little harder, push yourself a little further when in the background you have your loudest, hardest and fastest music playing full blast. Let the music consume you and you'll find you can do more than you would've thought without it.

    I have not adapted to the music routine yet. I never liked it when cleaning either I found it distracting.

    Never thought about that. Letting the music consume you rather than thinking about the amount of time left to do the exercise, video, etc. should make a big difference.

    Yoga was my first exercise love, so I used to hate loud music and shouting instructors, but I've come to love Body Pump and the loud, vibrant music is an important part of that.

    ABSOLUTELY!! Cannot agree more. When I have my iPod cranked to the tunes I love it pushes me, sometimes doubling my time on the treadmill. And I keep several playlists to keep it interesting, mixing up the beats per minute for moderate/fast intervals. When you think you're ready to quit the next tune plays & you think, "Oh I love this song" and you go another 4 minutes or however long the song is.
