To stay within your calorie range for the day, pack your snacks and meals that can be eaten on the go before you leave the house. No need to guess your calories, and you do not have to spend extra money for fast food or sit down restaurants whose portions are usually two to three times the recommended portion.

    When I have a class in the evening I often bring a little bag of carrots and cauliflower--things I don't ordinarily want as snacks. Yet, when that is all I have I find myself glad to have brought them! Save money from vending machines and eat healthy to boot!
