I always weigh myself every morning before I get in the shower - naked. I don't need to know how much my clothes weigh but I know what if I can have an extra treat or if I need to be a little more careful that day. I think this has helped me maintain & it's so easy to do! emoticon

    I have weighed daily for years, and it has helped me to maintain my weight loss of over 50 pounds. It may be too stressful while you are losing, but once you are at your goal, I think weighing OFTEN is a must. emoticon - by DELIA_B
  • i have mixed feelings about this. SInce I;m still trying to lose, I think it would cause me to focus too much on the numbers result, then to either get discouraged and give up because I didn't see result fast enough or else to feel like, okay, I lost enough, I can afford to have 1 cookie today... and then I'd not be focused enough on doing the exercise and watching fiber, etc that I need to be doing for health reasons, and not just because I want to weigh X number of pounds. - by PONYTROT

  • I weigh myself once a week; that's enough for me. More often and I get discouraged due to so little change from one day to the next. Since I get weighed at the gym, I am NOT naked, but, I do take my shoes off! emoticon emoticon - by GRANDMABETTY60
