I like to reward myself for achieving a goal by buying some new fitness equpment. To avoid going broke, I search garage sales for mildly used equipment. It saves me a great deal of money and it helps my neighbors make room for more gently used equipment.

I agree, however, this morning I mentioned at work that I would really like, and have wanted for a long time, one of those workout stations that include many types of exercise. One lady's daughter has been trying to sell one! Yeeehaaa!! Right in my price range. Paid to mention it!!

I love "two-for-one" ideas like this! I've been trying to think of a good reward for milestones on my lifestyle journey. Exercise equipment is a great idea. I also love the "recycling" from garage sales and the softer impact on the wallet...
