I used to think I could never go without a soda. Just thinking about not ever drinking a soda again would make me crave it even more. It was actually a lot easier than I thought, to kick. I mainly drink water and one cup of coffee a day. If I want a soda, I split one with my fiancÚ, so I still get the taste, but I get half the calories.
Since I quit drinking soda I lost 4 labs in a week and a half! Imagine the possibilities!222
If I can't keep these foods out of my cupboards, I keep foods that I don't want to have easy access to (think chips, chocolate, etc) in plastic bags and bury them in the cupboards and back of the refrigerator. I also keep the good foods I want to munch on (veggies, fruit, nuts, etc) in the front of the fridge and cupboard. That way I'm organically creating healthy habits by making it hard to get the bad foods mindlessly.
I find it is easier then I thought to eat healthy. When you are wanting a snack or just going grocery shopping. If you have money to buy those chips, sodas, or anything else that is full of fat. Trade it with something more healthy that cost about the same price. That way you leave with healthy choices instead of bad ones. 4830
When I want something sweet and I see I have the money to get some ice cream or cookies. I will end up getting frozen yogurt or fruit instead. When you buy the the healthier foods the bad foods will not be in your home and you are not as tempted to eat them. 306
