When first starting after living a sedentary lifestyle, setting up a workout regime seems so overwhelming let alone doing it. Start with dedicating 10 minutes to cardio and go from there. If you made it to the 10 minutes and still feel great, go another 10 minutes and so on. If you gave all that you can and are exhausted, then you can stop knowing you fulfilled your goal of 10 minutes of exercise.

I find this technique really helps me- I get motivated to workout as its "only 10 minutes" but always surpass my goal and exercise much longer.
Its a great way to get started, and once you have built up momentum and know you can do more you can set bigger goals.

I started with 10 min on my Gazelle. And I didn't want to do it. I love music so I added fast upbeat music and then I got a pedometer. The pedometer has been the biggest help. I really am addicted to it and to doing a few more steps each day.
Now I actually get up in the morning with out even thinking about it and do my Gazelle just to get my day started right. I have a goal to do 10 min each day, v But once I get started I find I don't want to stop.
I never thought I'd feel this way about exercise. Ive had double knee replacement and have lots of joint pains, as well as a bad foot. BUT I feel so much better each day!!!

Be consistent
The key to seeing results from exercise is consistency. Even if you can only work out for 10 minutes at a time....do that 10 minutes religiously. Be dedicated to your workout time. That consistency will make exercise a habit and you will see results!
