I like using mini weight goals to keep me motivated. My goals use the next smallest number from my weigh in. Like now I weigh in at 116.1 kilos, my next goal is to weigh in the 115s kilos. And it works really well. I always have that next number in my head when I eat or work out. It really works!
Losing an amount of weight can seem really daunting - I have 50lbs to lose and thinking of it like that it is such a big number. So to make it easier I make myself mini goals. Focusing on a smaller amount of weight to lose seems more do-able and inspires me to move onto the next mini goal.
MORE INFORMATION: 381 I use stones as well as pounds - 1 stone = 14lbs
