This Sparked Me!

I've found that checking serving size is so important when reading labels and using the food tracker. I've had problems getting some of my recipes in the right serving size for the food tracker. Any body got any insight on using sparkpeople and figuring out serving size? Thanks

Use the serving size calculator tool before/while entering your ingredients for any conversions.

I've learned the best way is to switch to using grams and ounces -- and instead of searching for where someone else has entered it -- I enter it in my favorites -- and put in everything from the label.

Also -- the recipe calculator can really help too -- and all you ingredients and adjust the number of people served until you find the right calorie count.. so you know how much you can have..

Make sense? I sure hope so, just want to help :)

I am also trying to figure out serving sizes for my own recipes especially when there are multiple ingredients such as meat loaf, casseroles, farina and other dry food you need to add something to it.
I tried food grouping but I don't know if I did it right.
