Blood Vessels Narrow from Eating Sugar, Salt, And Fat
Blood vessels become narrowed from fat , excessive consumption of white flour and white sugar. Over eating, obesity, diabetes is a proven major cause of Atherosclerosis. Arterial blockage causes stroke and heart attack. Eliminate Sugar, salt, refined and processed foods, eat less saturated fat, keep blood sugar under control. It has been clearly demonstrated that white sugar & hydrogentaed fats, & white flour are prime causes of hardening of the arteries. Flax seed and olive oil help.
Eating high fat foods puts you at risk for heart disease
If your diabetes doctor has not told you, those with diabetes are at an increased risk of heart disease. Eating high fat foods puts you at a greater disavantage. Eat fish like tuna and salmon 2X a week. Baked goods are loaded with sugar, sodium, junky white flour & tons of preservatives so bake your own with Almond Meal Flour or white bean flour. Stay away from bacon..chose canadian bacon instead and eat only rarely.
Yesterday, I made 5 different Batches of Cookies. (eg, pressed cookies, sugar cut outs,) I used Olivio intead of butter, split the sugars=half splenda brown sugar and half regular brown sugar, White Whole Wheat Pastry Flour instead of All Purpose Flour. Well, the Men came home from work and, of course, got into the containers. They Loved them and are None the Wiser ! ! ! AND they are eating Healthier. Enjoy and Happy Holidays.
