Secrets of Success

Price Matching At Walmart

Did you know WalMart prices matches competitor ads? Take 10 minutes and go through the grocery circulars and jot down the item and price of what you'd like. When shopping, put a handheld basket (with your priced matched items in it) in your shopping cart to make checking out a breeze. Example of a good deal: cherries at WalMart were $2.99; I got them priced matched at $.99! :o)

  • I am the produce manager for my local Walmart and yes, Walmart will gladly match your ads! emoticon - by SCHIBIG
  • I'm glad to hear that Home Depot will take other store's coupons & prices. - by STUFFNEARTABOR
  • I am a manager over the front-end and our Wal-mart has been ad-matching (not price matching) for quite some time now. We accept other stores' coupons too. The only thing we don't ad match or honor are the buy-one-get-one-free items. Our store keeps ads on hand for those who are interested and it does save time if you decide to bring in your own ad. emoticon - by HATCHMOM
  • But why give your business to Walmart? Look how many jobs they shipped overseas to leave us without jobs!?! My plant closed causing 1600 people to lose their jobs. Most of us never found good jobs with benefits again. Use price matching to do your business with small business. It is amazing what servicess they can provide. These American families need your support! You can save money with them too! - by SAL1512

  • I know that Home Depot will take Lowe's and Ac Hardware coupons and vice versa.

But I did not know that Walmart would price match, too.
I'm going to check that out.
Plus, I'm going to see if the other grocery stores in my town would do the same.
