I love fruit, but my hunger is at night like I am starving and if I eat that fruit, blood sugar is high in the morning... any other suggestions? I have even tried a glass of water and even a sugar free soda as they make me feel full.

I do like fruit now and if I eat an orange then it quenches my thirst also.
I know it can make your sugar go up but if I eat it in the right amounts it doesn't seem to do that to me. It does have to have fiber though.

Fiber or no, fruit makes my sugar skyrocket. I have to eat it carefully and only when my sugar is low to begin with.

As for myself I have learned that fruit is the last thing that I could have at night.... it really raises my blood sugar in the mornings.

The best fruits for keeping your blood sugar from spiking is "berries": strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc. If your snack is grapes, apples or that sort of thing you blood sugar goes way up.

I have had fruit for the last couple of nights and my pre breakfast reading is 143 and that's high I know it's the fruit
