ever make a trip to costco only to have to throw out frozen food to fit your new purchases in your freezer? Here is a way to literally squeeze the most out of(or actually into) your freezer!
when you buy purchases in boxes- you are throwing away valuable freezer space. I take anything that doesn't fill up the entire package- cut the nutritional and cooking info off the back- and place that and the contants of the bigger box- into ziplock bags. This also lets you "see" what you have!

freezing food helps us to eat a little lessand I use less space in the freezer.Having an extra freezer helps to do this.
I cook up a large batch of vege's usually rice and put it in a large freezer bag.I then flatten the bag so the vege's(rice) is a thin layer, that way I can break off just the right amount that I need and it takes up less room in the freezer.
Get more bang for your buck in freezer space. Other than frozen treats and ice cubes, your freezer should contain meals ready to reheat! Check out a book on cooking meals ahead of time and pack those meals into the freezer with re-heating instructions. On those busy days, check one out of the freezer before you leave the house and come home with less stress knowing that you will have a healthy meal ready for your family without having to do more than re-heat. A crockpot meal is even bettter!
Write on the Manual Cover: purchase date, where bought, warranty info, service plan. Instead of a box or file for all manuals...tape the packet to the item or keep in the same room as the appliance in a designated spot. TOSS the old manual when you toss the item. Staple the receipt to the booklet. Mail registration form right away! This will make life SO MUCH easier when you have to downsize or sell or give away the product. Attach hardware: allen wrench, brackets. 148
