I set up a calorie budget just lke you do your money budget to achieve your goals. 1. Set up the total calories you want to consume each day. For me it is 1200-1300. 2. Set up the details. For me it is 300 per meal and 100 for 3 snacks. When I go over my budget for any meal, I cut out a snack. 3. Eat your favorite foods as they fit in your budget. It helps you when you are making tough decisions. 4. Deciding to do it is 90% of the process. The 10% is just following through on the above plan.
I have used a separate file to document my total calories every one of my 109 days so far.
Document your whole journey in pictures. Put a picture of your current/formal self on the fridge so you look at it everytime you open it. Everyweek take a new side/front picture and watch the weight come off in pictures! Its great motivation!
