I have found a great way to satisfy my sweet tooth. Instead of taking traditional vitamns (I have a hard time swallowing big pills) I take two adult gummy-type vitamins daily and caramel flavored calcium chews. It's like a double whamny, vitamins and sweets at the same time.

always keep some sugarfree gum on hand it really helps when your not sure if your hungry or bored if after you chew it for approx 30min and you are still hungry then eat.

Just a quick tip to allow small indulgences without having to avoid the man in your life who likes to always take you out to dinner, or bring home your favorite fruit smoothie from the local ice creamery .
My BF has a habit of picking up fruit smoothies for us when he comes home from playing ball at the YMCA. Instead of refusing his kindness I break the calories down with my $0.69 Popsicle mold from the Dollar tree.

Staying on Track while still indulging your sweet tooth
When I get a sweet tooth craving, primarly after lunch or dinner, instead of reaching for chocolate or cookies, I reach for a tootsie pop. Sucking on a tootsie pop will last 30 to 45 minutes and you get the chocolate tootsie roll at the end. By the time you are done the pop your sweet tooth craving is satisfied and it only cost you 60 calories. Try it, it works!!
