Think about all the things you pay other people to do for you. i.e. car repairs, tuneups or mowing the grass. Learn how to do it yourself. Take a class, read a book, check the internet. My DH has saved us TONS of money by doing things himself. I learned to cut my own hair by watching how it was done. I learned to cut DH's hair by watching how it was done.

MORE INFORMATION:
In this day and age. FLEXIBILITY is the success word. I'm not brave enough to cut other people's hair, unless it is a trim. DH is VERY brave so he is able to make some extra money.

    I totally agree! We recently bought a house and so many things we decided to do ourselves (like reface the kitchen cabinets) and not only did we save a lot of money but I feel very empowered and self sufficent.
