If I weigh 184 lbs I think to myself that I weigh 182 lbs. I tell myself over and over (in my head) that I weigh 182 lbs until I actually do weigh 182 lbs. Then I tell myself I weigh 180 lbs. etc. You get the idea. Sounds strange, but it works for me. emoticon

    This actually works ....... its self prophecy!!!!! Its the law of attraction !!!! People dont feel as bad when there 2-3 pounds lighter.
You trick yourself and at the same time you feel sexier you feel happier and guess what when you feel good weight just melts right off you .
Even the way your posture and attitude changes when you think your 5 pounds less!!!! emoticon

    Your strategy reminds me of what was in the 2006 best-seller "The Secret" regarding weight loss. Do not focus on losing weight because you bring to you what you dwell on. Makes sense. Focus on your goal, in your case, 180 lbs. and so on...until you reach your goal. I am going to try your tactic. A picture taken of you at your desired weight, looked at often, is also a weight reduction tool.
