I will "surprise" my loved one next Christmas with a terrific looking body. She will notice some of the changes of my body earlier (I hope), but if she inquires I will just say: "Wait until Christmas. I will have a surprise for you". I'm sure she will love it.

I reuse christmas bags from the year before if they are still in good condition. I also use christmas table cloths to wrap some of the gifts that are too big to wrap. I just drape them over the gift , and tuck the ends under the gift.
Every night I'll empty my change into a quart jar. When it's filled, I bring it to the bank..... it' s usually about $80.00, which I put into a Christmas fund. Every year I have more than $500 saved for Christmas gifts, which painlessly frees up a lot of money in my "gifts" column of my budget.
In addition to my Christmas savings, I also buy gifts all year round for Christmas. I have the standard set of people (or service positions) that I buy for or recognize each year - as I think most people do. So if I see a gift in April or August, I buy it and save the time and money in December.
My goal is to be done shopping Thanksgiving weekend, so I shop all year round. When my Christmas check arrives, I use it for buying the tree, wreath, food for special meals, donation gifts and 3 birthdays in January! (think of the things that aren't as easily purchased too far in advance.)
