I have back problems and last winter when we got blasted I heard Coach Nicole's voice in my head " protect your back and tuck your tummy" I did that and had NO problems with my historically bad back! Remember tuck your tummy!

Shoveling show is the most timely example since I'm in the Midwest, but other house chores can also be used for great exercise - washing your car, mowing your lawn, sweeping, heavy housecleaning and more. I often do things the old-fashioned way, just to burn more calories.
