Lower Your "Entered" Weight On The Treadmill

This Sparked Me!

When doing a run on the treadmill, I enter my weight at approximately 10-15lbs less than my actual weight. This is to ensure that the calories burned display is a more accurate reflection of my actual calories burned. Exercise equipment notoriously over inflates the calories that we burn while exercising.

I went to the gym the other night and got on the tread mill. I entered the weight loss program. The belt went from 1.0 miles to 2.5! I really wanted to sweat but this setting just had me dragging me feet and climbing a lot of hills. So I will try to put in a different weight and see how that goes. Thx
