Eat with moderation yes but don't deny yourself anything. This way you can keep the momentum going. And indeed track it for you to see if the calorie intake matches the satisfaction you get after eating it. I have lost 26 pounds so far and I think one of the main secrets to my success is eating delicious food everyday, for every meal. I do not do well with diet eating, restricting myself to food I don't really like, I always find myself looking forward to it being over. This time around I only eat the food I want, I don't choke down melon with cottage cheese. I completely cater my diet to my tastes, with some low fat/ low cal tweaks.
Of course this is within reason, there are a few things that I do not allow myself on a regular basis. But if I am really really craving something I either try to find a healthier way to get my fix or I splurge, get my satisfaction and return to eating healthy.
In my experience, the best way to stay motivated while dieting is to eat the most delicious food of your life, including all your favorite foods, but in small enough portions and with large enough quantities of healthy sides so you stay within your daily calorie allotment. Every day can be an eating adventure with new cheeses, soups, salads, entrees, desserts, marinades and spices. Don't ever eat anything you don't like while dieting, it will sap your motivation faster than anything.
the 3 day diet I tried at first it claims that you will loose 10 lbs on it ( not true) and not good to lose weight that fast, but wwhat I learned about was proper proportions, and it gives you an idea of what you should be putting in to your body so even when the diet is over I try to eat the way that the diet has shopwn me to believe me on that diet I was NOT hungry, and I got to eat icecream the tuna fish diet get it online eat in variety after your diet247
it says to make sure not to use the diet consistantly as after the 3 days, you to stop but then my advice is to copy the diet by using your diet as a meal plan as to the measurements of your foods and each week say tuesday wednesday and thursday you use the diet eat a variety after
