If you are new to exercise and diet, remember one thing above all is that it didn't take long to get the weight on and it won't take long to get it off. Sying that, you do have to work on it, diet and exercise work hand in hand. Make small goals each week, each week make something just a little tougher to acheive but again you will acheive it. Reward yourself with something small but reward yourself. Above all you have support and friends everywhere, use the resources. Have fun!

I started slow at age 34 and ran/walked to doing my first 5k a year later but I quickly lost the first 30 pounds easily. I began weighing 170 pounds and now at 44 years I'm weighing 109 and have ran a marathon, and learned to swim and did my first triathlon and a 66 mile bike ride.

    The reward system works well, especially if it is something you really want and refuse to give yourself until the goal is achieved.
