When I start to get hungry between meals (or maybe I just think I'm hungry because I'm bored) I have a cup or two of tea. The taste makes my mouth less bored :) and I'm not snacking on anything! I also sometimes make tea in my Nalgenes so I make sure to drink enough water -- no calories! I try to drink about 3 liters a day, tea or not.
